This practice combines the benefits of Yoga with increased health and wellbeing provided by the use of essential oils. Yoga transforms our lives on a physical, emotional and spiritual level, while essential oils have been used throughout history to support and improve those same connections. This practice reflects the desire to unite these two complementary practices.
These workshops emerge through the experience and knowledge acquired as a teacher and student of yoga and as a therapist and enthusiast of essential oils. By realizing that essential oils are an excellent complement to any practice of yoga and that it gives an important impact of potentiation of its effects, I decided to create workshops that integrate them.
Introducing essential oils in the practice of yoga can deepen and expand the experience of yoga to new dimensions, with only a few drops.
Essential oils, such as yoga, are simple and complex. One single oil can be used for a specific purpose, but the same oil can also address multiple healing aspects of the body, mind and spirit.
As essential oils become incorporated in everyday life and with the practice of yoga, it is possible to perceive how the body and the mind work.
Learn and feel which oils can help soothe, give energy and elevate mood, increase respiratory capacity and connect with the innermost thoughts (which are found in the subconscious).
Yoga allows us time to blur from the outside world and to focus on ourselves. By adding the natural and harmonious element of plants in the space of our exercise, with the use and application of essential oils, we elevate the experience by bringing the unique aroma and the powerful healing energy that each plant provides.
